University Professor of Nutrition

David Feuz obtained his master's degree in human clinical nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health and is currently a university professor of nutrition, a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN), Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT).

Prior to his career in health and nutrition, he was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard, working long irregular shifts so he know what it is like to have a busy schedule.

He now focuses on providing functional and personalized nutrition solutions to busy adults suffering from type 2 diabetes and other chronic metabolic conditions.

He values a whole person treatment approach as type 2 diabetes is likely the result of numerous causes that disrupt blood sugar regulation and insulin response. These factors can include diet, physical activity, sleep, chronic stress, environmental toxins, nutrient deficiencies, and poor gut health. It is therefore important to utilize a multifaceted treatment approach that addresses each of these underlying root causes.
